Unfortunately a lot of ‘marketers’ seem to think that Facebook and other forms of social media are just another free marketing channel.
They’re not.
The whole idea of social marketing sites like Facebook is interaction, community and relationship building. Marketing should be only a small part of the mix.
I agree also. I don’t love Facebook, so don’t visit unless pulled in by something (a friend request in email, etc.) I am appalled at the number of alerts, notices, whatever that have been piling up in there. I never see them. GREAT video with sharp, on-target point!

Although, at the moment I’m using the Mail Mascot to manage my email marketing as I find it much easier/faster. Definitely works well with the tips outlined in this video.

yeah, the good thing is you can delete spamming friends on facebook, you shouldn´t accept random people period.
